Photostart

Photostart is a global nonprofit organization that uses photography to equip under-resourced youth with new opportunities for success. We believe all young people have extraordinary potential. Founded in 2016, Photostart is a global 501c(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in New York. We are a network of photographers, artists, teachers, and volunteers worldwide, working to empower under-resourced young people (ages 12-25) to imagine, create, and choose their future. We partner with local community organizations around the globe to offer our digital photography programs.
