The Kurator is a digital platform, showcasing the art of both established and emerging African artists. Committed to the idea that Africa is a hub of creativity, we seek to enable local creatives to exhibit their talent, thereby contributing to artistic upliftment. We believe there is no shortage of relatively untapped creative expression here in South Africa. Showcasing and telling the stories of local artists is critical to changing the narrative of the past. By engaging with those that have dedicated their lives to their craft, we have the opportunity to see the world in a different light – their light.
