Emma Cameron

CEO/ Founder

Emma Cameron is the founder and MD of Polkadot Digital, a thriving digital marketing agency built from the ground up over the past decade. Her entrepreneurial journey began at an early age. While still in school, she gained experience in promotions, events, and retail sales, always drawn to working with people. Unsure of her career path, she pursued a triple major in management, marketing, and HR – an education that would later prove invaluable. After interning at a digital marketing company, she discovered her passion for the industry. At just 23, she took a bold step and launched Polkadot Digital, determined to create something meaningful.

Today, Polkadot Digital stands as a testament to Emma’s dedication, having grown organically into a highly successful, women-led agency – an achievement that is rare in the IT industry. She has built an all-women team and is passionate about empowering women and youth in South Africa, creating opportunities for growth in a traditionally male-dominated space. Beyond her work with clients, Emma has shared her expertise through university lectures, business training, and radio interviews, helping others navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape. Her strategic approach has led to rapid client growth while maintaining a personalised and results-driven service. Passionate as ever, Emma continues to lead Polkadot Digital with the same enthusiasm and vision that sparked its creation, helping businesses thrive in the digital world.
